2002 Rodeo - Need A/C HELP

Hey guys... I've got a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo
A/C cools well at speed... At idle, no cooling at all...
A/C fan in front of radiator is running... With engine off, if I try to spin the fan blade on the engine, it only turns about 1/2 way around... That means the fan clutch is still good right?
At idle, if I bring RPM's up to say 2000... it seems to cool...
Any suggestions to what I should check?
Compression weak? A/C fan weak? How can I tell? It seems RPM based but I've heard a weak compressor will do this? Anyone?
Thanks!

I would check to see if the cooling gas is topped off.
Also, make sure the recirculate feature is on.
Isuzu, AC are really weak when standing still; be happy you don't own a trooper.

Thanks for the reply... AC is set to recirculate... If freon was low, wouldn't it not cool well at speed either?
It cools fine when RPM's are higher and going down the road...

Pop the hood (& feel the outside of the grille) to make sure the clutch fan is pulling A LOT of air thru the grille and over the engine on a hot idling truck. The clutch fan speed shoud subside as your accellerate down the road. Natural air flow takes over at speed, or atleast it should with a properly functioning clutch fan. The electric fan (on auto trans rodeos only) should cycle on/off. The A/C on our 2002 stays pretty cold in all conditions even on a 90deg humid day, but like Ryan says, they dont have the cooling (or heating) capacities of most other vehicles. If your fans are working as they should, maybe your condensor coil is clogged with bugs/debris?
