Thumping Noise

92 Accord LX.
I am trying to determine what caused the noise. It's been there for over a year now. The tire is pretty new, and the noise existed before I replace 4 tires. I can hear it at low speed, arount 25 - 30 mph and I am pretty sure it comes from rear left. At high speed the car chatters constantly. Tires are perfectly balanced and rotate tires won't make any difference.
Anyone ever experience this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Get the rear off the ground and spin the wheels while watching the gap between the drum and the backing plate. Make sure you don't have a bent hub flange.

It turned out that the wheel bearing was worn, although it didn't sound like wheel bearing at all. I replaced the bearing assy and no more noise ever.
