Well I had just gone to pick up a Grand Am from another lot at work, when my coworker and I spot a beautiful black NSX. I pull up, rev the engine, and then let loose. I get a beautiful chirp from the tires, 1st gear, chirp them again in 2nd, and let off as I make the shift to 3rd....I nail my flashers because I'm WAY AHEAD. I'm talking bus lengths....but it probably had something to do with the fact that it was parked and lacked a driver.

Just thought I'd share my spotting with you guys...as it's only the 2nd I've actually seen in person. :evillol:

yeah nsx are definitly sex on wheels. well i burned a SL65 AMG two nights ago on foot, it was parked in front this russian bar. it probrably belongs to the russian mob. the guy comes out and just gases alittle and the rear got all squirmy. he went the opposite direction of us, but when we got to our deli, he was right in front of us waiting at the light!! around that area in queens, theres only one other route to that store if you want the opposite way, and thats like a 2 mile route. it was crazy.

Neat...

Saw a 300zx last night that revd up to 9k an shook the block I couldnt even breathe it actaully hurt how loud it was. He had dual catless angled exuasts. I swear it sounded like a damn V8 I didnt here any turbo . An S2k that was messing around at the light as well with a 350 with exhaust. The s2k took it up to 10k an droped it at the light. It was neat. I was in starbucks looking at the Stradale across the street... :iceslolan

the price is overated yes. but the car is amazing indeed

track star. its not the king of go straight but it handles like a dream

GritMaster
08-03-2005, 03:41 PM
it's not exactly slow in a straight line either. but definately an awesome car, and the styling is A+ I usually get to see about 2 or 3 a month, rarely the same ones though which is kinda weird. I usually see them with my GF and am like Look! and she promptly replies with how it's not cute :(

Well....what would make a car overrated??
Price. I was 3x more than it should have been.
At the time, the car was badass. Hell, it still is for the most part. But not for what they ask pricewise.

And personally, I don't care for the look.

Well....what would make a car overrated??.

there are plenty of ways a car can be overated. some people think the skyline is overrated

some think the supra is overated, corvette and list goes on. overated on there performance in one way or another

interior, exterior etc...

but your def right, it cost was way to much for its performance

TatII

you know what car is really overated? the honda civic!!! yo its v-tec time dawg.

They have a '02 NSX for sale about 3 minutes from where I live. I drive by it every day.

Edit: Those of you who think the NSX is overrated, just wait for the 2nd gen. Probably a V10 hybrid :evillol:

I kindly disagree. I think they are prefectly rated as the affordable, fuel-efficient grocery-getter they are designed to be. :D

Unlike the 240SX which is good for.....uh...:uhoh:. Let me think...

still thinking....almost thought of something...........

Ok nope...there isn't anything that I can think of that the 240 is good for. Except drifting. Yeah, they make good drifters. :)

240sx's are good for making at least 400whp on each engine that comes in them bone stock(except the CA18 and SR20 naturally asperated versions);)

BlackGT2000

If they are good for 400 hp stock how come you are stuck in the 13's haha. J/K

good for and how long are two separate questions.haha

You are right. But I am one to be prudent.

"Make haste slowly,"

And please don't ask ET when questioning power. It means nothing. You should be asking why I am stuck trapping 107mph. Which the answer to that is because I was a dumbass when I sized my turbo the first time and picked something that likes to chill out around the surge line. Its being taken care of tho. As is my log manifold.

Here's the proof for 400whp on stock internals (http://www.phatka-t.com/projectcars.htm)

240sx's are good for hmmmmm nothing at all, they're crap cars like the civic :thefinger.

but the difference is we trade off economy for just alittle bit of style.

Well, there's your flaw. You got jacked...Nissan screwed over their enthusiasts with that one.

Damn Japanese cars!! Good for nothing. Maybe all of us import owners should switch to domestics...

well in that case, I'll anounce that I killed a VR-4 on the highway yesterday... I switched into his lane and hit the hazards, he knew I won and accepted his defeat... that's when I knew I had a big wang.
