air blows cold when compressor is running, but it turns on and off. It's so predictable that it's like a factory setting or something. It will be on for about 30 seconds and then off for that long and just keep alternating. Any ideas?
thanks,
Chris

sounds like it's low freon, but best service by a qualified person.

Thanks for the reply. I actually got it checked and the freon was fine. It got a little colder with the recharge, but the same problem was happening afterward.
I've heard the advice that this might be some kind of fuse problem. But I don't know what would make it switch on and off.
By the way, you an F1 fan? Just wondering because of the Michelin thing.

It could be a couple different things, they should have inspected the system before recharging and repaired the problem.
Yes I am an F1 fan, I love racing in general. If it goes fast & makes loud noise that's enough for me.
