Hi Burge. I have a 2001 grand sport. I did a search in this forum and found that you also have this problem. Did you, or perhaps someone else knows what the problem is? The flickering does not happen when the engine is not running.(lights running off the battery). possibly alternator?. Any ideas? Thanks guys!

What you said about ok off the battery gives me a thought. If your running off the battery, that tells me that your vehicle is sitting in the driveway, not getting bumped around. You probably have a loose connection somewhere that is causing the flickering. First and foremost check your bulb sockets, remember not to get your finger oils on the bulbs. Check the obvious wires to see if any are loose. Lastly, it's possible you have poor solder connections or connectors to your control modules. Just a thought.

I have a similar problem with a '98 T&C. The headlights and instrument lights blink off while driving. Sometimes it is just a blink and sometimes they go off and stay off for up to a minute. I have had a Chrysler mechanic spend several days trying to find the cause without success because the problem can't be duplicated. Anyone have any thoughts? 11/16/2005 Here is an update. Chrysler technician found a loose ground and a loose positive battery connection. My problem is now "fixed", we will see. Cost $134.
