Flashing control panel lights

Recently, my Caravan wouldn't start. I tried jumping it and couldn't. I knew that the battery terminals needed cleaned but didn't think it was affecting it this bad. I took the battery out and had it checked. It was fine. I cleaned the terminals and it started as if nothing was wrong.
The only problem I have is that there are two buttons that flash when I start it up. They flash for about 20-30 minutes then stop. On the temperture control panal, there are 6 buttons. AC, inside circulation, rear defrost and 3 for the rear wiper (fluid, intermediate wipe, and normal speed). The intermidiate and normal speed button are the ones that flash. While flashing, the other 4 buttons will not light up. All 6 functions work properly, but they will not light up while the other two are flashing. After 20-30 minutes the two will stop and the rest will light up if they are engaged. I know it's not a fuse because the work then. Any suggestions? They don't flash in a number sequesnce such as an engine code. They just flash the same speed for 20-30 minutes after every start.

there's a post/thread in the Caravan/Voyager Forum under the subject: "Flashing HVAC lights with new battery". it has the answer to your problem.

Sounds like you're having Alternator problems. Go get that checked.
