Fuel Injector question

Hi
I have a V8 350. I use to have a 305. My 350 still has the 305 fuel injectors on seeing how he just switched the parts over. What are general symtoms of bad or fault Fuel Injectors. Would I need to change them to 350 injectors. The car runs slughes at times and has stailed out after sitting at a stop light. Had the alternator checked out and its fine.

Thanks
Eddie W.

If you modified the car, your injector's may not be fast enough to keep up. You may need to step up to 24lb style or you could very well have something wrong.

no the ses light is not on, thats what is getting all the mechaics here. The only thing I see to do is like dad says and that just drive it.

Thanks

Need to have someone w/a Tech I look at duty cycle at WOT, or get it on a dyno and look at A/F.

Rule of thumb is to not exceed 80% DC @ WOT, though many "get away" with a much higher DC. As already mentiond, the addition of 45 more ci's would lend to the theory that you're choking the motor for fuel. If it were me, I'd nut up for bigger injectors and a wide band tune.

I wouldn't be banging on it much until you know how lean you are.

Just a thought.... how's your fuel pressure and have you done a fuel filter lately?

Hi
I just wanted to give a update to the problem.

Took it to a place that deals with elect. stuff only and come to find out I had a faulty control module, the thingy inside the distroubor. And it only cost me 89 dollars.

Thanks for the attemts on helping
