Progress: AMT Bomex Supra

This isn't going to happen fast, because school starts in 2 weeks :mad:

While AMT hit some details on this kit pretty nicely, the front bumper doesn't live up to the real deal Bomex.

This is my first time doing major body mods, so feel free to criticize along the way...

So far I glued on styrene sheets to make the basic bone structure. The bottom lip still has to be trimmed and shaped better. Top is almost done.

Looks cool so far. Are you making the movie car, or just that bodykit? Please, no rice sir.:) Keep up the awsome progress.

lol! Don't worry, I'm just making the body kit. The paint is going to be black and it's going to have a huge single turbo ;) I'm thinking of going wingless too

wingless Supras look so nice! this is the AMT kit? did you paint it already? lol... mine came molded in a light grey/off white color...

Wingless is a good idea since the wing that come with the kit is terrible.

Keep at it I'd like to see it. Hardly see anymore posts on JDM cars with body work on em on these boards like we used to.

When I bought this kit I think I was 14 years old. Now I'm 28 lol

Atleast you still have yours, I ended up destroying mine trying to convert it onto a Tamiya Supra.:rofl:
