air bag fuse

the only thing that has been done on my truck is the egr valve needed to be cleaned cause the truck was driving kind of rough with the idleing on the truck and now i have the air bag light that comes on one mechanic suggest that I take the fuse out until I have the money to repair the air bag problem but will pulling the fuse out create anymore problems with the truck? any info will bw so helpful thanks
