Well im not experience with Hondata really,
but im pretty sure all u have to do is get the Hondata system... Install it... Get a Computer...
Install the software... and figure out how to use the software. But dont quote me on that cause I'm not positive thats all.

Also you can find more information here.

Yeah no shit....What do you have done to your GSR? Why do you think you need HONDATA?

you don't need hondata for those mods...Raise compression and get some sick cams, then hondata will be a great idea. or better yet boost then hondata is great

should i just invest in an afc, it runs like crap and breaks up in the top end when im on it

Probably the IM and throttle body that is doing it. Those are overkill for your setup, and probably causing you to loose power. Maybe try adding more fuel :dunno:

i was told that it needed a tune to fix that problem or afc, does that sound right?

my thoughts are.

if your not boosting, using nitrous, or raising compression, then money spent on hondata can go better elsewhere.

an afc will not help you. you need to either a. put stock im/tb on or B. get cams and valve train with an agressive grind, then tune it with a vafc you will then be very happy. your n/a engine will only use the air your cams will allow in anything else is wasted.

if i get the afc now will it run smoother and not break up on the top end?
