AC Sucks

When I first got the car the AC needed charging. My grandpa's friend recharged it and it barely blew out cool air. I'm wondering if it's possible and if I need it but do you guys/girls think I need to buy a new AC for it? It's horrible, makes it hotter in the car than anything.. I haven't had AC for a long time. It also seemed to blow a wee bit colder when I'm either higher revving it or going, which is normal, but geez this is horrible.

Take the car to an AC shop and have them check the system for you. You may only need to have it evacuated and recharged. It may also have a leak that is not allowing to hold a charge. This is much cheaper than a new system and should put you back in the cool air very quickly.

Awsome, thanks for the answer. I should have thought about that before, but I'm always wanting to 'do it myself' and didn't even think about that. I turned it on today for a few minutes and it just blew blistering hot air. Hopefully if it needs all that work it won't be TOO much. Thanks again GTP Dad.
