I'm sorry if I'm disturbing this forum, but I am trying to figure out what to do and was hoping that someone here may be able to help. I have an old 1969 VW Beetle, my Very First Car, that I would prefer not to junk. At the moment, it does not run, the floor boards are rusted through and it has 4 flat tires. She has been sitting at my mothers house for several years.
I believe that there are usable parts on her and would love to give her away to someone who would either be willing to fix her up, or part her out. It doesn't matter to me really, I would just prefer that she not end up in a junkyard. I need to have her removed from my mom's house as soon as possible so if someone is willing to take her and can get her out of there, SHE IS FREE!!!
Does anyone have any interest, or know of someone in my area that would. I'm in Kirkland, in Washington State.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this post.
Sincerely,
Mystykunicorn

search the web and your local paper for any VW Bug groups or clubs.
also check with the local high school and/or community college's auto shop, as the instructors may want it for a project car for next class.
good luck

if you have the title, some salvage companies will come and haul for free, as they only get about .30 per ton; but I do agree, that it would be ashame to trash the car; ---if you think someone can utilize and REvitalize her.
hope this helps,
