No Gauges

OK I may have shorted pin 5 and 8 of the OBDC connector under the dash and now my gauges and warning lamps (except check engine) do not come on when I start the car. All gauges are dead, no speedo, tach, gas, temp. but other than that everything works, lights, brakes, signals, hazard, hi/lo beams cluster illumination lamps RAP system.

Please help!

I checked fuses in-cabin but not yet under-hood.

Any thoughts?
