Just painted. They dont make any sort of aftermarket tails or covers for the 03+ tails yet. About the only things you can do is paint or do the outer tails with after markets or just get the rk sport carbon fiber bezel and put what ever year tails you want in. Alot of people on the org have their 03+ tails painted.

So far painting is about the only self modably decent way to clean up the rear on the 03+ models.

i knew it was paint or decals. ok so now my question is how do i paint the lights? do i paint them from the outside or the inside. and what type of white paint should i use?

Paint them from the outside. Mask the areas you dont want to paint and give the areas you do want to paint a light sanding so the paint will hold better. I suggest giving it a coat or two of primer but I have heard of a few people that have done it without primer with no problems. Then paint them. I wouldnt be the best person to tell you what would be your best bet for what kind of paint to use as I am a rattle can paint is paint kinda guy.
