99 grand am start

Ok i have 96K on the car i had the battery changed recently.... for about the last month or so my engine light has been on.. it runs fine however when it starts it keeps getting worse each time.... some times it starts up fine..... then it will start and stalls once.... then i have to give it gas right away or it stalls.... i am unsure what is the problem the starter perhaps or alternator? any help is very much appreciated : )

Welcome to the forum. It sounds fuel related - possibly your fuel pump or your fuel pressure regulator.
