Code Reader Scaner Connector

HI, I HAVE PROBLEMS TO FIND THE CONNECTOR TO PLUG A CODE READER. MY CAR IS A 97 PASSAT AND THE ENGINE LIGHT IS ON, SO I BOUGTH THE SCANNER, BUT I CAN NOT FIN THE CONNECTOR. IF SOMONE KNOW WHERE IT IS, LET ME KNOW, PLEASE.

on my '99 passat it is under the steering column. You have to get down under the console and look for it... it is slightly to the left... Good luck.

hi! on your 97 passat it should be behind a plastic trim between radio and stearing colum,just behind the wiper arm.
