Smog!!!

For some reason my 420A is barely passing smog. the previous owners didnt pass before, but a new cat and ECU was put in and they said that solved the problem. but after purchasing the car, i had a mechanic friend looking at the smog sheet, and it turns out that my car BARELY passed one of the sections by like one point. so basically what im looking for is: 1. Anyone know anything i can do to make my car pass smog, besides feel lucky that day.
2. if anyone in Nor Cal around the sacramento area has someone that will smog my car and MAKE it pass, that would be greatly appreciated.

PLease respond cause my registration renewal comes up in 1 month and i need this car to pass.

I would either temporarily put on a regular exhaust system or find a way to have 2 cats put on the one pipe back. It sounds crazy but should filter it pretty good. Also make sure you dont have any CELs. Do you know any good car shops b/c they usually know people who can "pass" :naughty: your car.

noob in action: what are CEL's?
cant take off exhaust cause it is all welded now. and i would have to cut it.

CEL = Check Engine Light

Did you try driving the car around the block until it is warmed up before taking the smog test? I was told to do that for the integra I use to have.
