Hey everybody... I have been doing some research on audio equipment. I think I am going to get some Infinity Kappa components in front, and coaxes in the rear. The reason I posted this thread is that I found a great site to purchase tons of car audio equipment for really low prices.
check out etronics.com. Do some research on crutchfield.com, and others, and check out your local Best Buy, Circuit City, etc... then check the prices at etronics.com.
I just ordered a set of Infinity Kappa 652.5i 6.5" speakers for the rear. Circuit City (Best Buy competitor, for those who aren't familiar), had the Infinity Referance series (Which is a step down from the Kappas) 6.5"s for $199.99. Crutchfield has them for $149.99. ZEB audio had them for $149.99 also. Check this out. Etronics.com... $89.99.
I emailed the sales agent before buying. He said they are priced per pair, and all product is brand new... no refurbs, etc...
I should get them in a week or less. ($12.00 UPS Ground shipping). When I do, I will post again to let everyone know if they are what they claim to be.
If you are hunting for car audio equipment, check it out!!
Thanks

So i got the Infinty kappa 652.5i from Etronics.com. I got a fabulous price on them. That is why I started this thread. I promised to let everyone what I thought of Etronics.com after I received my order.
So here is the result. I got the speakers in 5 days from order. I paid $89.99 + 12.00 shipping. I was happy with the price and the time of shipping.
The speakers appear to be brand new. The box itself was not shrinkwrapped, but I don't know if it is supposed to be or not. The speakers, and all the other components were sealed in plastic inside. I was happy with the condition of the speakers.
I got them installed, and they sound great. So I am happy with the product.
Sounds like I should be making a perfect recommendation of Etronics.com right? Well, I don't know. Here is the rest of the story.
The day after I bought my Kappa's, I was going to do a little more research on some components for my fronts. Turns out they completely pulled all there Infinity products from the website.
I had emailed them once before just to ask about whether or not they were refurb, etc... I got a very quick response on that email. So, I emailed after not seeing any more infinity to ask about the availability of Infinity speakers, and to ask why they wouldn't show on the site. Well, It has been three days, and I have not gotten any reply.
So, I am not sure what is going on. For some reason, seeing the product dissapear from the site, and not getting any reply to my email has shaken my confidence a bit. But, I did get what I order, and I am happy with my purchase.
If you are interested in other brands, it looks like they still have some great deals.
So that is the story with Etronics.com.
I think I am going to get my Kappa components from Ebay.
