Well, for starters, you can stick a rocket up your tailpipe. ( hee hee, I kill myself. ) Seriously, you can get a new exhaust.... rmrproducts.com and road race motorsports.com have them and I also found one on e-bay. As far as spark goes, direct hits.com has an improved ignition system for the Lancer. That's what I found, if I see anything else you'll know.

Buschur Racing (http://www.buschurracing.com) also has a cat-back that's bolt on. That's what I'm running right now. Honestly though, a header would be a better overall gain. RMR's is out, RRM's should be out soon, and RPW has one out. Kamikaze was the first, but there were initial quality/fitment issues. I've been told they've all been addressed now though.
If you want substantial gains, forced induction is really the only way to go. If what you want is just some oomph without dumping a buttload of cash, then I/H/E is the way to go.

Hey hobie, I checked out that site and what the devil was the part # that you found for your system? I saw the lancer link but when I put my cursor over it, it didn't change to the hand like it was supposed to. What up with that?
BTW, how is that system? Noise level / performance / ease of install

I have to go with lil red 03. I put the exhauts on from road race along with their intake and test pipe and felt a huge difference. It sounds and feels great. They also have headers comming out soon and turbos in stock. Personnaly I would go with the turbo from RWP over road races. It costs a little more because you have to buy an aftermarket intercooler and some other upgrades, but there are three stages and the stage 2 is less than road races that has no upgrades availabe yet. After you buy the intercooler and other minor upgrades you may be over the price of road races, but you get more performance and opertunity. Road race turbos give you 80 hp with 6 lbs of boost while RWP gives you 60+hp with 10 lbs of boost. Sure you get less hp from RWP, but with 4 extra lbs of boost you make up that 20 hp and excide it with the oppertunity to upgrade to the stage 3 150+hp with 12-15 lbs. Check it out at visionimports.com in the performance section :sun:

RPW. This is real life, not Gran Tourismo. Forget stages and look at what's available and included in their kits. RRM's kit covers everything you need. I'm not talking trash about RPW. I've never read a bad thing about them, they have forged high compression pistons available and forged con rods as well, both as special orders. Call Buschur for info or go to Import Tuner's website and run a search for Buschur. They're the only dyno tested and proven bolt-ons I've seen for the Lancer. I will personally NEVER trust a manufacturer's own Dyno claims. I'm too much of a skeptic and they have too much to gain financially from inflated HP gains. At any rate, this one's mine if you wanna see it.
