Parking Brake

The parking brake of my 1983 Nissan Pickup truck (rear wheel drive) is not working. I found that the rear right cable is broken. Any idea how to fis it? Thanks.

When I first read your question, I was wondering if it was a joke. I mean...if something is broken you have to replace it right? There is no one on this web site that is able to give you step by step instructions on how to do that without writing what amounts to a repair manual. That being said, you should go buy one. If you don't have any mechaical repair experience, buy the manual, read it, get the tools necessary to do the complete fix, and then dive in. That's the only way you will learn. If you are unsure of what it is that you are doing, do only one side at a time so that you can refer to the other side to see how the parts fit together. Good luck.
