I you bought the truck new and know it's maintenance history just follow the Toyota recommended maintenance schedule.
If you bought it used and don't know it's maintenance history, it would be a good idea to change all the fluids except power steering fluid. New plugs and air cleaner element if they haven't recently been changed. Check the brake pads and drums for wear andrepalce worn out items. If the brake fluid is dark in color it is moisture contaminated and should be changed. Good brake fluid is almost clear or a very light amber color. You need to know how to bleed brakes if you attemt to change the fluid so don't attemp the change if you aren't comfortable with the idea. Be safe first.
