does anyone know who makes this

hi, this is driving me crazy, i can't figure out who made this bmw. i was on the freeway and i saw a new e60 5 series with a body kit and dual exhaust. at first i thought it was a new m5 but it wasn't. where the badging usually goes there was this "r550". i think that was the number following the r. the r had like this checkard pattern before it. i looked all over the net and i cannot find anything like this. any ideas???
