A/c fitting question

I have a question about the a/c system
I'm wondering if the system(the whole a/c kit) from a 94-95 Civic that uses R134A will fit a '92 that comes originaly with R12(i belive) or it can be made to fit with little adjustments.Thanks guys for checking my post

i always thought the 92-95 ac systems were all the same.

unfortunately for me they're not the same,i was just checking the manual and seen the 92 and 93 comes with R12 and all after 93 come with R134a,and i was wondering if i buy the whole kit for a '94 if i can make it work on my '92.I'm not sure the condenser,evaporator and hoses are all the same size.I think the compressor will work ,but i'm not sure about the others and i do have a good deal for this whole kit but i'm not sure if i want to take the chance and not to be able to hook it up.

Yeah, they are different. Do a search over at honda-tech.com in the '92-'95 forum, I know I saw at least 1 thread about it (in detail).

Easily converted using a kit I got from WalMart. Came with gauge and enough coolant to perform the job. Easy to do and works well.

no offense but coolant goes in your radiator. It's refrigerant just trying to keep correct info for people who read this down the road. :cheers:
