ok for a little history,
ive got a 94 bonneville se, n/a 3800, with 152k miles. if any more info is needed i can provide it. what im dealing with puzzles me. my car would be driving along just fine and suddenly die. all the electronics would remain on, but the motor would just die. no sputter, no chug, just die like i turned it off. and it would do it randomly. at 50mph and at 10mph it doesnt matter. i have replaced the coilpacks, crank sensor (behind harmonic balancer), and cam sensor. what am i missing??? now it wont start at all and im stuck without a car. i love this car and would continue driving it, but if i cant get it going asap, i will have to get something else. help please!!!!

I've got a 98 SE with 126K on it and the same thing just started to me a couple of weeks ago. It was random to say the least, but it was the worst when I tried to make a turn and it died. Thank god I'm really strong and was able to muscle the steering wheel to safety. I got the "check engine" light just 2 days ago, and the code was for the Crank sensor, but a well repped mechanic said that the cps wouldn't cause the car to simply "die" as ours do. i sure hope someone will know what the heck is going on. I don't feel like dumping a ton of money for something/s that won't fix the problem.

I'm in the same boat. Mine died last night on the way home and won't start at all. No spark either. It would also just die when driving along, sometimes at 55 and sometimes at 5. This has me baffled. I am also losing coolant and it isn't leaking anywhere. I can lose up to a gallon in only a week, it just disappears. Very strange. If anyone has had the same problems please help us out of a jam. By the way 1995 Bonnie, 3.8L, 158k miles, ran like a top until last night.

:banghead:

Thanks,
Geno
