Got home from Myrtle Beach tonight around 9 which is not good cuz we left at 10 in the morning making it a an 11 hour 500 mile drive, so i wasnt to pumped about that. On top of that my truck is in a bad way. the tranny is next to dead, SES light and hard 1-2 2-3 shifts the whole entire week. So that is gettin real old and im either gonna need to rebuild it or get another one. When i turned up my street coming home the engine temp gauge shot up to around 230 or so. In the drive way water came pourin out of somewhere and you could hear the coolant reserve gurgling cuz of air goin up thru it. I think its the water pump but havent really looked at it yet. On top of that ever since about 2 or 3 weeks ago i can feel the engine just doesnt have as much power as it did and it getting worse. So im figuring on lookin at a new trans and prolly a water pump. then someday when i get a plan together im gonna be overhaulin/rebuilding the engine.
But other than the wounded truck the beach was awesome. A week of beer, girls, and fireworks is always a good thing. And as brad says i did indeed have some of the best times ill never remember.

Well i rolled around under my truck some in the day light and it is still dripping. Coolant drips off the harmonic balancer and the truck is sitting with the front downhill which rules out the radiator being the problem. So i assume its the water pump. No big deal i guess, the garage i deal with is only a 5 min drive from my house so when i re-fill the now empty rad. it should have enough coolant to get there. Also i had schedualed to have a lot of other things replaced also so i was planning on not having the truck for awhile anyway.
