There is no such thing as a V8 diesel in the dodge. Only the Fords and GM's have V8 diesels. But to answer your question it depends on the year but my 2004 has 305hp and 525 lbft of torque.

A six cylinder inline Cummins puts out about 290-310hp stock, depending on body style, 2x4 vs 4x4 etc. Using Banks computer systems and bolt on performance parts, it's possible to pry 500+ HP out of them for only a couple grand.
