Installing new Speakers

I was wondering how you install new speakers in the 1997 eddie bauer explorer? I bought new speakers off ebay that fit the vehicle, but I do not know how to get to the speakers? Do I need to take the door off, or? Thank You.

you have to take off the door panel, just look around for some screws. i never took off one on that new of explorer but should be easy.

on the door handle inside there are two screws hidden behind some caps that you pull up. then there are 5 snap screws on the bottom. The plastic ones that you use a flathead screw driver to pop off. Then just lift up on the door panel.
