ABS problem 01 silverado

I have ABS problem with my 01 silverado 2500HD 6.0L crew cab 34,000miles. Right before it comes to a complete stop I can feel the ABS activating through the brake pedal. The engine rpm's drops also from 500 to 200 and it almost stalls. please advise grhow
