turbo timer question

Hey guys, I did a search, but I didn't really find what I was looking for.

The problem is, I just got my Apexi turbo timer installed and it works perfectly. BUT, the problem is that I can't get out, and press the button on my remote to lock, and arm the car while the timer is on the countdown to shut the car off. I'm on the stock alarm system.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the remote works, and it locks/arms the car fine after the timer has shut the car off.

Anyone got a fix for this? Thanks!

The same thing happened to me when I went installed the turbo timer in my car. I went to a alarm and stereo shop that my bro recommended. They installed some wiring harness that connects the timer directly to the ignition. Sorry, but not sure how they did it. Cost me about $20-30 for them to do it for me so I said sure. Want to note that I have a Clifford alarm system and not the stock one. Did you try calling car alarm shops around your area to see if they can help you?
