Help!

i have a 96 caprice with the LT1 i just replaced the water pump and the entire distributor along with cap and rotor... now when the car is cold it starts but as soon as it warms up it will either die or over heat the electric fan dosent go on..after it die or i turn it off and it is stil warm it wont start. theres no spark from the coil when it it warm. there was avacuum leak by the pcv but its fixed and i dont know whats wrong i suspect the ignition control module..anyone help!
