Traffic Ticket issue

Im learning to really dislike law enforcement too. but anyway, I was driving down my local areas waterfront along the strip on a sunday, I dont have my license plate on my bumper, its in my windshield for body kit reasons, and there was roughly about 5 cops scoping out within the first half'a mile (not exagerating) the speed limit is 30 and the line of traffic was doing 25, the cop picks me out of the 10 that was in front of me and pulls me...gives me a ticket for "having" a modified exhaust...just having one...what the shit is that...he didnt check the decibals cuz surly my muffler is like 3x below the illigal limit. I know there isnt a law about modifying your muffler. what effing kid DOSENT have a modded exhaust anyway?! he proceeds to tell me he pulls kids over all the time and gives them tickets for there having a mod exhaust. Is it illigal?!?! About my license plate, I have went to the Legislater online and looked up the law on it, it say NOTHING about BUMPERS, just says to have it mounted on the front of my car. then I went to the DOL and they said its perfectly fine to have it in the windshiel as long as its visible...and I know its visible. now, on the ticket, he wrote "missing" front plate, my plate was not missing and I have pictures dated b4 this ticket that shows its there....wil that hold up on court? cuz I have court date to contest the whole thing.

What state are you in? I got the same ticket for having an exhaust which is not stock. In MD, that is actually the law, meaning if your exhuast rusts out or goes for any reason, you must replace it with a stock exhaust. Stock exhausts in decent shape are hard to come by, and from the dealer for my old Integra were 750 bucks. What? Fuck that, I put 2 inch piping and some ricer can on it for 300 bucks. Now I just got my Spec V four days ago, and it came with a Greddy cat-back on it, and the car came MD INSPECTED. If I get a ticket I am gonna fucking lose it. Cops suck, nothing better to do.

that shits gay ass, I live In WA, Ive talked to a cop about my exhaust and she said that the only way its illigal is if the CAT converter is modded in any way, other than that, its perfectly legel unless of course I break the illigal decibal code but Im far from that. She even told me she has a Flomaster exhaust on her truck, so she saw no reason for a ticket. the cop gave me a "Inspection ticket" and said getit fixed and have it signed by the fixer guy...I was like, "umm, its not borken or defective" INFACT it works better than my OLD one!! effin moron ass cop! the cop that I talked to said that have it inspected at the place I had it installed, cuz if it is illigal to have a modded exhaust, then they wouldnt of put it on so thats that. I dont think ive ever heard of a preson getting a ticket just for having a modded exhaust, all my friends say they never had any trouble when they get speeding tickets. My friend was racing his WRX down I-5 a while back and got busted for doing somewhere around 120sp and they never made him take anything off his car and that shit was modded crazy like. Its all BS, sympathy goes out to those who get busted for moronic shit! *gives high five*
