Hello Everyone!
My memorial to Andy (Hypsi 87) Filson is about to get on the road! It will not be finished, but when are they ever! I want to put his plates on the car but I am toying with a plate that reflects HONOR, not exactly sure yet...
Of course as some of you know, the memorial to him is a 1987 Buick GN.
It has some of his stuff in it:
Wheels and tires from his car,Front and Rear coil springs/air bags from his car, Stereo Equipment from his car,Exhaust system from the car he drove to heaven...
It will be needing a paint job and then I will be replacing all the body gaskets.
I will be adding a touch of memory on the trunk lid or back window;decals or airbrushing, not sure on the details yet.
Need to work on a display board for car shows and cruise ins, and items that I have of his will be displayed also.
I want people to walk up to this car, take a few moments, read the display board, look over the car, look in the trunk at some stuff of his back there, and walk away thinking....

If you get a chance could you post what shows you'll be showing the car at? I don't live all that far away and I would love to see it! Best of luck with the rest of the car.

Ditto on that. I'll be in Kankakee through May and into June but should be able to make a show or two.

Parkland College car show May 5th, i would love to see the car there.
