Hello!
I wanted to ask: is there are some differences in construction of OBD-II interface cable to PC in VW/AUDI vehicles from others?
The reason for asking:
I bought VW/AUDI OBD-II interface cable, VAG-COM 409.1 compatible... But the car I want to plug is Hyundai `01. it has OBD-II ISO interface... And software I want to use is ProScan...
So can I do it? Structure of the cable is the same? (in the connector there are not just wiring, but few condensers/resistors/chips...)
Can anyone help me?
PS: in case I cannot, and will do, is it dangerous? =) Can I burn car computer this way? =)
Thanx so much!

if its a generic odb2 interface you should be good to go both the audi/vw and Hyundai are use ISO standard.
