New O2 sensors and still P0133 Error

I was getting following error codes:
P0134-HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0140-HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 1 Sensor 2
P1133-Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) insufficient switching Bank 1 sensor 1
P1153-Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) insufficient switching Bank 2 sensor 1
After the error codes are reset it takes about 20 miles for the errors to come back.
I replaced both O2 sensors and drove it about 500 miles. Again after the first 20 miles the "Service Engine Soon" came on. After the 500 mile trip I had the follow errors:
P0133-HO2S Slow Response Bank 1 Sensor 1
P1870-Transmission Component Slipping
The Transmission is a mistery, but that error has not come back. However I am constantly getting P0133 after about 20 miles after reseting the codes. The O2 is new. What could be the cause, Mass Airflow sensor? Wiring? Or could it be that just there is a leak in the air intake after the Mass Air Flow sensor? Or am I just all screwed up?

MAF sensor could need cleaning or the ground for the O2 sensors is broken.
Trace the wires back the the ECM and make sure they are not burnt through.

There was a post awhile back (maybe a service bulletin) that talked about extreme moisture in the o2 sensor wiring harness. I wish I could be more helpful, but, if you haven't already, inspect the inside of the wiring harness for corrosion or damage.
I was getting following error codes:
P0134-HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0140-HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 1 Sensor 2
P1133-Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) insufficient switching Bank 1 sensor 1

How many O2 sensors are there? I replaced 2 one before and one after the Cat Converter. I see some posts and articles talk about 4 O2 sensors.

you'll have to look ...
follow that exhaust pipe from the muffler to the engine/exhaust manifold. They most likely all look the same.

I figured it out. There is freakin' 4 Oxygen Sensors. Why in there world would they need 3 before the Cat and one after? Thanks for youra help.

to isolate what's coming out of the left manifold (left bank) and right manifold (right bank).
the one before the cat monitors whats going into the cat. The one after the cat monitors cat efficiency using the information from what has gone in and what is coming out. I'm pretty sure the PCM doesn't use pre and post cat sensors to make adjustments in mixture - they're only there to monitor the cat.

You hit it right on the head there bro, excellent post.

Ok, now I have replaced all the O2 sensors, the "Check engine Soon" light still comes on about 20-50 miles after being reset. and each time there is no recorded fault. But the light is still coming on.

are you resetting the computer?
How?
you should disconnect negative battery terminal for 30 minutes (some say 10 minutes, but just to be sure). Then reconnect and let idle for about 2 minutes.

I had a guy fix this problem by replacing the MAF sensor.

When the "service engine soon" light comes on I stop at autozone and they check the errors. It reads "no recorded fault" and then they reset the codes. The light goes off for between 20-50 miles then the light comes on again (again no recorded fault).

You may need to take it to a shop that has a scanner that can read pending codes. the one at autozone are not the best.

did you reset the computer? you should always do this when changing sensors.
any other random tranny codes after the one you mentioned?
what year truck?
