i just came upon a monitor that i am looking at and have run into trouble deciphering between the two. the first is a kenwood kvt-m700 7" wide widescreen monitor.

and the other is a lanzar 7" am/fm/tv screen for $578.53.

which one do you guys think is better for controlling my whole system and hooking a ps2 up to it.

Just buy the Kenwood, Lanzar isn't as great. 7" wide means from side to side, it's seven inches. The lanzar one that's 7" diagonal means it's 7" from corner to corner, so it's smaller.

Kenwood makes some awesome shit when it comes to HUs and TV screens, too bad they can't seem to make decent speakers...

how much can you spend? if you got LOTS of cash to spare, look into alpine also. pioneer will do. i think kenwood is kinda rip-off. i dunno, too expensive for me:D or maybe you can look into clarion. they make nice stuff. gotta love that touchscreen:eek: ;)

illuciv99, i was reeally looking into getting the pioneer avx-7000 for like 779 at the cheapest place i could find it. the only thing is that you would have to buy a brain for the whole system that i want to hook up to the screen i want. http://store2.yimg.com/I/csc-audio_1681_1332879

I've been looking into getting the 7300DVD. The main thing with whatever one I get is it has to play VCD's. I make my own videos with car races, music videos and the like that I want to play in my car. I brought one of the vcd's I made to an audio store and tried it out in the 7300DVD and it worked perfectly!!
Just thought I'd share in case anyone else wants to do the same thing.
