Which do you like better?

The hatch or the coupe?

I say hatchback... coupe looks a little strange... especially with that ugly ass spoiler...

The coupe reminds me of an old mustang for some reason...

well since i own a S14 and they only came in coupes i chose coupe. but i must say, the S13 hatch don't look too bad.

Oh dont start w/that Inital D crap...come on!!! The Sil80 existed b4 that show and if you didnt know about it or liked then...then you are just jumping on a bandwagon.

heh yeah the S15 sil80's are sweet. i like the rear of the hatch better but i like the front of hte coupe better. hmmmmmmmm

I prefer the hatchs back but not its front. I'm thinking about getting such a car but can't decide if I should take the hatch and change the front or buy the coupe and drive around with a (IMO) ugly ass.

Hatch/Fastback... Hopefully I'll have mine in a few months. I need a car badly.

I had no idea so many people watched Initial D.

They're both awesome. The coupe weighs a bit less.

Yeah I think the coupe is like 50 pounds lighter, plus they say that the coupe is more rigid because of the added structure behind the rear window.

i think the hatch is better looking. im getting 1 as soon as i can find 1. the tail lights r nicer, especially if u put the 180sx tails on.

The coupe has me totally owned... The only thing wish it had was more defined/aggressive rear fenders :)

Me too... But I only had my mom's civic... I was totally set on a 4th gen Civic hatch for a while though... :)

I still like Honda's but I'm just more into Nissans now. There is this guy here in virginia beach with a 4th gen civic, I think his is a '90, and he's got the H22 swapped in. I've never driven it but I've ridden in it and that is a FAST car.

yeah, me too, i still like hondas but nissans r so great. i would get a 240sx over a civic or integra any day. my integra right now is old but its actually pretty quick and since my exhaust is broken its loud as hell. ill post a pic of my exhaust soon, its something u guys gotta see. it seriously looks like i lit an M-80 and threw it in. lol.

Im a big fan of the hatch...for some reason the coupe tail-lights bug me...& i really like the pop up headlights on the hatch too...i kno there are pop ups on the US 240 coupe but still...the a$$ of the coupe bugs me...i think it makes the car look older than the hatch...but hey...its just my opinion:licker:

the hatch with coupe headlights would be perfect:D

I mean i love the look of the hatch but i want my car to look totally live a Silvia ( front and tail converision) but im not sure if i can live with the coupes looks for that long. Maybe i should get a s15 front conversion on a fastback and have the rest look like the 180sx..yeh probably hope it doesn't cost TOO much:(

cost a lot more money to put on a S15 silvia front end compared to the S13 Silvia front end. Both of these front ends look awesome, its just which one do you like. I personally have never seen a Silvia conversion in person, but would love to see one (S13) cause im sure pics don't do it justice. SIL1580sx (Silvia S15 front end, 180sx chassis)are cool looking cars, If I had some money this is what I would have. If you buy a 240sx coupe the rear end is already like a Silvia's hope this answeres your questions

i just saw my first s13 conversion coupe just the other day. wednesday august 7 driving down harbor, hear in southern cali. was an asian gurl driving it. the front bumper looked like it was falling off but i still liked it. and pictures don't do it justice. wasnt a big fan of the s13 coupe until now. SIL1580sx got any pics???:D :) :D :)

Guys when you really think about it, those 95-98 240sx are more like fastbacks than coupes in design anyways, lol. So if ya like the 95-98 240sx then u should definitely go with hatchback.

What the frig viper, have you ever seen a 240sx?...my girl friend has a S14 "coupe", I have a S13 "hatch". The S14 is nothing like the S13 hatch! Bada Bing Bada Boom!

I like the coupe better, I think it looks nicer, it reminds me of a mini-skyline almost, the hatch is just weird lookin, COUPE all the way

I am going to have to back you up here JDMEDDIE. There is practically no resemblance in the 180 and a S14. Just a hunch but I think that is why they call it the 180SX, and not a S13!!!!!!!!! :flipa:

are we discouraging people not to post now and bring up new questions and new information about a posts topic, even if it is old? and lets not forget not everyone here has read every post, especially older ones... might be very useful to them.

it clutters up the main page with stuff that we've already read and don't want to read again. 80% of the time, it's stuff that's already been talked to death about, and most of the time, the members who started the threads/participated in them aren't even around anymore, which makes it illogical to post in that thread instead of starting a new one.

i, in no way, feel like i'm god's gift to this forum. i feel in no way like i own the forum. all i'm trying to do is promote the well-being of the forum. if so many of you guys see me as a hassle, maybe i'll just pack up my fucking bags and shove the fuck out of here. this is what a guy gets in repayment for trying to help.
