Civic Hatch..

New WIP from me.. Still alot of ideas up in the air on this one...

Not too flashy.. No tacky body kit.. though it will have a CF Hood, Hatch, And Wing.

Color is Dupli-Color "Camel Mettalic" which is an awesome color for this car. There's only a couple coats on it so far, I just got done spraying a few more..

Here's a few pics. I angled the wing like Horrse did on his civic, and I think it looks alot better. I also cut the "custom rear" up a little and made it look a little like a CTR rear.

The 5 spoke custom ones from the FSVT kit, I'm stripping them and painting them black with a red lip, though.

Update, new wheels and panel lines added. Will coat with another coat of paint then go to clear. Also picked out new wheels..

Not sure, But I did get it polished. Paint the trim tomarrow and finish the lights. Then wait for the damn SMS CF to get here. Hopefully its here monday cause I'm getting ticked off as it's been a week since I've ordered it..

Race header and CAI, thats about it for engine mods. Interior will have racing seats out of the 93' Civic Coupe, Probably just plain old' flat black interior. We'll see...

Cool! Im liking what I see;) IMO the white wheels make this car look soo good, and imagine it with the CF on, aww man.;)

I need to get a toothbrush out and get the compound out of the panel lines, then paint the window trim.

Wow, that looks awesome. I am too working on the revell HB. Mine is also a goldish duplicolr paint (can't remeber the exact color at the moment). Kinda weird how everyone is going with the gold colors, but it sure does look good.

well...

bad luck strikes... I was brushing on some flat clear when I accidently got too much on the brush, needless to say it ran right under the tape and precedded to attack the duplicolor clear. This was after I pulled the tape up that I noticed, only because the paint came up with the tape. so now, It's gettin stripped. Don't think I'll stop progress, Because I won't.. I'll have it back in primer by tomarrow.. And the first coat on.

My first time doing a CF hood with SMS, it tore a tad bit on the upper edge, I don't know how you guys make yours so damn flawless. Theres a coat of clear on mine, Thats why it looks rough.

CF application looks great. The new color looks cool. That sucks about your other CF sheets. :( . Must have been quite expensive.

WOW!!! that Carbon Fiber looks AMAZING...how do you do that...i tried on my SVT focus but it looked like...well crap!...It looks good how did you do it?

SMS=Scale Motorsport (www.scalemotorsport.com) they make decals and other stuff for model cars, the brand of CF decal im using is SMS.
