Removing Starter

How in the #@$% do you get the starter off a 1995 Chevy Blazer LT w/ 4WD. It took me 2 mins to get the bolts out and I spent the next 30 trying to figure out how to get that massive thing to fit between the suspension and the engine. I can't move it back enough to get the front down and I can't move it forward enough to get the ass end of it down. I even got pissed enough to try and use a crow bar to pry it out, still didn't work. Is there a certian way you have to twist it or pull it or just set the mother @#$$ on fire and watch it really BLAZE.

It is a huge pain...you almost have to lift the engine out to change the starter.
I had to use a crowbar to yank mine out.....If you can take some of the weight off the suspension, it might give you some more room?

Well I started at 3 PM and just now finished at 8 PM. That is the longest it has ever taken me to change a starter on any car. I even changed one in the freezing rain and it was easier than this one. I had to remove my flywheel cover (one bolt under the drive shaft took 45 mins), bend a few lines running to my trans. then pry it out with a crowbar. That was the easy part. To get it back in I had to figure out someway to thread the nuts and hold that heavy arse thing up there and put the botls in it then bend my lines even more to get the flywheel cover back on and try to get that pain in the arse bolt back in. That was the worse experiance I ever had fixing a car. On the up side the alternator I changed a week before only took me about 10 mins.

Didn't your instructions tell you to drop a crossmember?I know in my 91 i have to drop the crossmember before mine will drop out and my skid plate.

Never read any instructions. I just beat and bang and remove anything that looks to be in my way. It was very much a pain but there wasn't any cross member in my way, though I was giving some thought to removing my drive shaft to get to a bolt on my flywheel cover.
