central locking

i have a peugeot 306 xrdt (1996). for some reason, the central locking works when i lock the car from the driver side but when i turn the key to open it, it then opens the driver door only & not the rest of the car. however, if i open & lock the car from the front passenger side, it opens & locks all of the car doors fine. any suggestions on how to reverse this & make the driver side the main side for the central locking?

I've got same problem. Its caused by a damaged loom either within the door, or the door to A pillar join.

Peugeot can replace for like £60+ for part, then labour.

I just live with it, and use the remote control to lock/unlock the doors.

You could open the join and look for split wires etc or faulty switch within the door.

you're rite, guess i'll have to just live with it. i dnt want 2 fork out 60 quid + labour for somethin that just works in reverse order. thanks for your reply.
