Metallized Window Tint

Couple of questions...
Is there any truth to the rumor that metallized tint can interfere with cell phone signals? I've heard this and was wondering if anyone could give me more info (from experience or otherwise). I believe the positives (eg, no fading) outweigh the drawbacks (slightly weaker signal), but wanted comments.
Also, has anyone heard of FormulaOne tint? Comments? I'm trying to decide if the cost-benefit is worth it (ie, the only certified FormulaOne tint installers want $250 for my little MR2, probably because of the curved rear glass???). I'm going today or tomorrow during lunch to check out examples of their work.
Thanks for your help!
ps... i don't know if this is the right place for this, but the only threads i could find using the search function were kids with civics and accords talking about how cool their $100 10% limo tint would look.

The only reason you would ask a question like this is because you want to use a cell phone while driving. Correct?

And a limo tint is not 10%.

i'm not in the habit of using my cell phone while driving, and if i do, i always have my headset connected. that notwithstanding, it is nice to be able to receive calls in the car, especially when it is important (eg, as a consultant, i tend to get quite a few work-related calls when i am not in the office. missing those calls is not an option). now that i have explained myself...
ok, so limo tint is not 10%. the point is that most of the posts related to window tint that turned up using the search were related to how dark their tint is, or what the legal limit is, where to get a cheap tint job... you get the idea.
and finally, the "cell phone question" is not my only question. i am certain that i want a full-metallized tint, but also would like comments on the quality of the Formula One film. maybe i should have explicitly asked for comparisons to other films, like 3M products and Llumar.
