Crazy tach, odometer quit working, engine rough at start

'92 chevy silverado. Odometer quit, tach is jumping all over the board and the engine started running very rough when you start it up. Runs fine after warm up. A little shaky but I have TBI adjustments that need done, just never got to it. Also, drivers side rear turn signal socket keeps getting a surge and blowing out. Someone told me their could be a short in instrument cluster causing all of these problems. Anybody have same trouble? Any ideas? Thanks.
