No....Rip Off....

I think Ive been ripped off....a $1091 dollars of being ripped off. I gave the money to a guy who was a MeganRacing dealer. He supposively ordered MR Coilovers and STBs... He was supposed to order them the 4th of July if they were open if not he would order them on Tuesday the 5th. I went on vacation the week following. I came back emailed him and he said they were on back order and if they didnt give him a shipping number by tuesday(19th) he would call again and bitch at them. I have tried to call him but not successful but today Ill drive to his shop and be like "WTF dude". Oh yeah I emailed Megan Racing and they have the coilovers and the front STB in stock and the rear they dont....so I was like OK maybe that rear STB is holding it up. Then I emailed MR back and asked if they had any orders for S13 Coils and STBs...they said "NO" Im sooo fucking pissed. This guy is also a guy that at 12:30 at night when I was asleep woke up and went to go push his SR20 powered Sil-80 a half mile and a 1/2 of it was uphill....Noone else came to his rescue but me....Why the fuck is he ripping me a new one? If I dont get the Coilovers or I dont get my money THAT WILL BREAK ME.

i'd drive to his shop and reason with him before getting angry.. just tell him that you know they have the coils in stock cause you personally called and have the number handy to call if he says they don't.. did you get a reciept from him when you gave him the money??

I went to his shop and he wasnt there and wont be back until like 5-6 soo ill call and reason with him then. The other guy at the shop said that they got a call from MR this morning....sooo I think im just freaking out but...its been over 3 weeks. No no receipt I mean I trusted this guy.

well its a life lesson my friend. i wouldn't trust too many people on this planet with $1000.. i'd go in personally and talk to him. that might get you somewhere since its a more formal way of confronting him

There's your first mistake, don't trust anyone.

The first mistake was not getting a reciept..... trusting ppl isnt an issue if you have a receipt..

He didn't get the receipt because he trusted him, therefore, the first mistake was trusting him.

I trust them until they give me a reason not to. I know that may not be a good attitude but seriously I would trust anyone on this forum with quite a bit of stuff until I got another reason why not to. No me and the guy im ordering from talked and its all cool.

wtf dude, you never give anyone full payment up front.......especially on a good size purchase. Usually when i buy shit, i lay down the rules right then and there. If they dont agree business is better dealt else where......they want business they'll do what you say. Half now rest later....treat it like your in the mafia/drug dealer or something. Business is business. And always have a nice load of CASH to flash so they know your not dicking around. Thats me though, im a bitch when it comes to money. I save everything. And it also helps when i whip out the "bad mothafucka" wallet and where my jerry curl wig.

if i ever did get ripped off, im pretty sure id be going to jail for a little while.

Its allc ool now sometime this week I should be sporting my coilovers and front STB...Hey the reason I gave him the money up front was because he does the Megan Racing stuff out of his own pocket as a dealer. So it wasnt through the shop...I was jsut freaking out thats all since I hadnt actually talked to him in like 1-2 weeks.
