I tried to join the DTM forums but can't post for some reason so...
Since US M3s don't have the VANOS system on them and I want to get an E36 with the turbo kit (autowerks?), what's the difference between getting the more expensive M3 compared to just a 328 and getting that turboed? Is it worth the extra? Euro ones are for sure because they're in a much higher state of tune but the US ones seem to be just a bored out 2.8 with different cams. Is this right? Can you get the same hp (turboed) out of the 2.8 as the turboed M3?
