Eclipse Exhaust on a Galant?

Has anyone attempted this? Visual inspection of a 2001 Eclipse and 2001 Galant show the exhaust to be almost identical - pipe bends, s-pipe flange, muffler. The only difference I noticed was the location of the hanger bracket after the silencer and the lack of a tailpipe (just a tip) on the eclipse.

How difficult do any of you think it would be to take, say, a magnaflow or borla system for an eclipse, move the hanger, and replace the tip?

i was looking at some eclipse exhaust for my 94 galant...the flange and bends look the same, but the hangers are different.

Im sure a muffler shop can weld a new hanger or maybe you can do some southern engineering.

I saw at galantpeed.com that for 02 cali spec galants you can bolt a Stratus muffler right in.
