ok the inside boot on the driver side of my car was completel busted apart from the rest of the shaft, the only thing i can imagine that held it together this long was the tie arm thats right below the CV shaft. after taking the majority of the CV shaft out i tried to pull / smack / POUND!! / BEAT!!...HAMMER!!..... nothing its cramped enoug has is i can get good leverage on the damn thing.
the other side i had enough room to get a crow bar in their and wack it wit ha hammer an it poped right out. ( it was also busted just like the driver side )
any ways any ideas at this point would be extreamly apriciated. :thinkerg: cause im covered head to toe in grease and pissed off. :angryfire thanks.

and my second question is where do i fill it back up at, and how much do you put in? thanks.

pop your hood. look near the driver side strut tower. you should see the nuts for the strut, and 2 nuts for the upper control arm. take these 2 nuts off. 17mm i believe. this will drop out the upper control arm. after that, have someone carefully pull the whole assembly away from the car while you pop the axle out. this *should* give you just enough room to get the axle out all the way. works for me.

i think i see what your saying but did you read the part about my axel being broken just after the inside boot? i have nothing to grab LoL, it sux i cant get my hands on anything and if i do i cant pull hard enough with just my hands. Thier isnt enough room to wack it with a hammer ether theirs to much shit in the way, ive only budged it so far but in the last 4 hours of workin on it it hasnt moved 1 inch. my fingers hurt bad lol.

Get two small crow bars (i used 8" ones) and pry on both sides to create equal pressure, you don't need to hammer it just work it for a while, takes time but you don't have to take anything else out.

OMFG!!......ok heres what happened.
where trying to get the rest of the shaft OUT of the hole, we didnt know that in fact it wasnt in a hole the hole was on the shaft. ( we thought it was a Male peice when in fact it was a Female ) we though it was liek that because the fuckin idiots down at the local parts store have their system all messed up so that the part numbers are the same for both sides....so we ended up with 2 Male fittings. ( we thought was kinda fishy but hey, their "pro's" right ? WRONG...)
so we got a big ass fork. and we got it on their just liek you said with the 2 crow bars and jamed it in their over and over until it finaly came out.
turns out that the parts store had us thinking the wrong ideas because thier dumbass with the wrong part numbers. and all it needed was a little tough love :chair: LoL. well now at least in the future i know better to double check on everything and not leave ANYTHING to the parts stores, i feel dumb for trusting them. :icon16:
thanks for the help guys, ima go out and get my new oil in my transfer case and get things rollin again. peace out. :slap:
