Possible damage from being towed?

I just bought an 89 Chevy with a 305 and 700r4. The guy I bought it from towed it about 150 miles with the rear wheels on the ground and the driveshaft not disconnected. What possible damage could that have done? Everything I see says to disconnect the driveshaft first but .....too late for that. Tried searching but could not find any good info. Thanks.

Well, does the car run fine?

Can't drive the car currently, it needs a radiator and new plates, may be a week or two till I can drive it. I moved it 50 feet and it drove, but am concerned about its longevity.

Unless he towed the car with the engine running I would expect some transmission problems. Years ago I saw a guy tow a car without removing the driveshaft. He started the car and put it in neurtral. No ill effects as a result.

I think there could be damage to the pump
