can i find out if my lude will support wider tires?

I would like to know if i can get larger and wider tires for my prelude. The P205's are ok but they could be a little bit more grippy. and i would like to know if my car is an si or not it doesnt say but it came with the 205 tires are those are stock on the 1993 si's. It sounds stupid but im not sure and i know its not a vtec. it seems to have a vavle cover to fit 2 cams but i dont know.

It probably is an SI, and I have 235's on my '00 prelude, they might fit your's too

your tire width depends on your rim width more than anything...

then your clearance comes into play...
