ok my car sat for about a couple months unti i had the insurance and everything to drive it, i changed the oil and it smelled like gas, als when i would move the car from the back to the front yard or something i could smell the gas a little bit, but the car doesnt smoke or anything. sometimes when i sit in idle the car shakes a little like the rpms are a little low, so i think it may be the spark plugs not burning the fuel and air mixture in the cylinders completely? or do you have any other suggestions?

Just give it a good tuneup- change the oil, plugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter, runs some sea foam though the manifold and gas.

Its a fuel system cleaner, can buy it at most parts stores, works better than anything else. I usually pour half into the manifold (with it running, slowly so it doest die) and the other half in the gas tank.

so just take off the black thing that says d.p.f.i. and pour a little in there when its runing?

You can feed it into the intake though a vacuum line.

Good shit! I sucked it through vacumm hose on manifold though.try checking Fuel pressure regulator. if diaphram ripped fuel will not be able to return to tank. fuel will find its way into intake through vacumm on Regulator and back down to combustion chamber and into crankcase (what ever isnt burned). some guy near me, his car froze up. drained oil and ended up taking out 5 freakin gallons from his crankcase. crank couldnt move. :banghead:

wow 5 gals. Ive sprayed intake cleaner in my manny to get my car to pass inspection, so now i do it once a year but have other means of "passing" inspection. But this is the first time ive ever heard of seafoam in the intake.
