Damn on my way home yesterday from my girls house :naughty: last night i was driving and i was doing 50mph on a 40 zone, well this all of a sudden i hear police sirens so i look back, but it didn't look like a caprice, so i punched the gas :shakehead well i took the off and next thing you know i see this caprice with his sirens on and then that's when i pulled over, well they got me out and handcuffed me and they asked me why i ran, and i told them that it didn't look like a cop car and with all the shootings and shit that has happened around here in los angeles, i thought i was going to get jacked, well they searched my car, ran all my info and everything came out clean, well then they lifted my hood because he wanted to see what i had under the hood to be able to outrun the dodge magnum, well after they saw it they pretty much starting giving me compliments and shit, well atleast i didn't go to jail, but when the hell did police start using dodge magnums for cruisers?

man what u know about boonsmills? back when i was living in roanoke old sheruff buford (yes thats his name ) drove a decked out 95z28, then in 98 he got the ls1 z. it was on the news and everything, he claimed that since his county was only a good 8 mile stretch he needed a fast car to catch speeders before they went over the county line. i see hes steped up his game since i last drove through his set....lol. and here in florida we have z28's and now i see them driving those ford 500's. and that mercury merauder. i almost flew by one a week ago on 75 then i noticed those little ass lights in the back of the car.i saw a boss mustang in s.c. when i was moving here a few years ago i was like damn, people must be trying to run around here all the time. they are getting tricky ive seen them driving hoopties before too, and now they have cops in regular cars calling in speeders to cruisers, so be careful

Haha you didnt outrun a Magnum, you outran a Charger. The police has started getting those it was suppost to be this FALL, but guess you got one of the early ones. Nothing special, and since the car weighs ALOT it's actually pretty slow, hell an SS 98+ could outrun one with a few mods or good driver. Funny thing that you got complements though from the 5-0. One thing to never try to do is outrun one of those Copmaros, man.. those bitches are FAST.

i knew they were toying with the idea of doing up some police magnums, i didnt know they had actualy done it though. weve got the camaros too, they work in tandem with police harleys, and big expeditions. the expedition will park on the side of the road and take a tire off like its got a flat. the motorcycles will be parked in front, completely hidden from view by the big SUV, and the camaro will be off a side street about a hundred yards up the road. its a fancy little setup, very effective.

My Sunday school teacher is an OHP and he had one of those Z28 cars. He has told me all sorts of stories about rice burners trying to outrun him and stuff. He has told me several times that thing would haul serious ass. I think the fastest he had it was 150 or 155 and the suspension was very tight.

on the interstate round here there's a safety corridor and they set up couple cops on one of the overpasses with radar and radios. when they get a speeder they radio the car to cops setting on the on ramp. i've seen about 3 cop cars lined waiting while a couple more had already pulled people over and since it's a safety corridor the minumum fine is like $300

Nate355RS
07-28-2005, 08:43 PM
yea philly, i got pulled over by buford when he had that ls1, i couldn't believe how fast that thing closed on me. are those things stock ls1's or is there like some kinda police package on em?

Nate355RS

i had no idea he had a blower on that thing, didn't he have a red one too. he's always sitting at that gas station on the left if your headin toward the lake like right out in the open, i guess he figures that his gto is really intimidating

yeah he does like to post up by that gas station, my boy use to go to ferrum and when i use to go visit him i had to go through his county, i love how he had that psted speed sign saying speeders will be caught... its funny when u are following a pack of cars how as soon as they cross the county line they all brake hard lol. gotta respect a cop with a bad ass car.i bet he's loving that gto. i remember the last time he pulled me over back in 99, and he asked me was my wife having a baby. i was looking like wtf, he said thats the only reason a man drives like that when he's trying to make it to his wife's side, i should have been a smart ass and been like yeah she is ( i got no wife maaaan) but back then i think it was like 200 bucks for speeding through his county, those were the days

Well when i saw it wasn't a caprice i thought someone was going to try and jack my car, well that aint going to happen, so i took off and two blocks later a caprice pulled out of a parking lot and turned his lights on as soon as i saw it was the police i pulled over

yeah i know, i told u all i lived all over the world and country lol. hey if any of u are in the same situation he was in im gonna tell u what to do so u wont get in trouble for not stoping...dial 911 and let the dispatcher know that there is an unmarked car flashing his lights behind u, explain u didnt feel safe to stop and she will radio that cruiser and fill them in on the situation, and if its indeed the cops she will let u know, if its not she will put a unite in on an intercept rout with u and the unmarked car. just so we dont get no l.a.p.d. style ass whoopens or another philadelphia p.d. shoot a brother 89 times situation again. the cop wont be mad or nothing because they understand the risks that follow stoping for unmarked cars.

where the HELl do cops still use caprices?? I thought they got rid of all of them in the early 90s lol. Here they all use crown vics and impalas, depending on the town. Then a lot of towns have a harley, and an SUV or two, and sometimes I see them using grand marquis' on the highways. To this day I havent encountered a Copmaro (lol) on a NJ road, even though people say there are a lot.

lol, they do searches to try to get answers they find something that is on the track they are on and then they post becasue the poster thing is right at the bottom and they often post stuff that is either trying to help the dude (which if its 2 years old thread, im sure hes out of that proble by now and into another) or they post asking another question related to their problem.
