So I am in the market for a low maintainance 2nd car. I found this 1993 maxima ad:
For Sale: 1993 Nissan Maxima SE 205,000 miles automatic transmission pearl white exterior w/ tan leather interior. Perfect winter car! Everything works except for cruise control
Is this a good deal for the stated $1000 price. How long can these run IF taken care of. Any commom potential problems in the near future?
Thanks

Youre getting computerized comfo center which may run as a charm, guzzling gas. However, there is no mile w/o tune up, all has to be paid: If no tuneups done, put in 2000$ + more and youll drive next 60k problem free. But youll like how it behaves after new shocks...
Cheap and simple commuter to keep up, high mpg, find some 4cyl basic models like stanza.
Check some of the tuneups that must have been done (GXE with different engine) http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/1
